Description

DWM or Erfurt, Model: P08 Luger, Cal: 9x19mm, MFG: early 1910's, S/N: 7394d, Semi auto pistol, 4'' barrel. The checkered Walnut grips are good. They have wear, nicks, & dings from use/age, the checkering is still present but is noticeably worn. The metal finish rates 60% overall with areas of wear & thinned bluing. Top of barrel is marked ''1913'', the top of the toggle is marked ''42'', right side of the barrel is marked with imperial German proof marks. The gun is a mix match of S/N parts with one or two parts matching & no parts matching the S/N on the frame. The toggle lock is marked with a Mauser stamp from 1939-42. Bore is Good. Its bright with tinned/worn rifling & light roughness throughout but has light pitting/more aggressive roughness near the muzzle end. The barrel holds a barleycorn front sight with a fixed V-notch rear sight. The pistol comes with one 8 Rd., WW2 era, aluminum base magazine. A nice piece as a shooter.
